2015 Transitioning to College Writing Symposium
Each year, the Department of Writing and Rhetoric, along with other UM partners, hosts a themed Transitioning to College Writing Symposium in support of writing instruction in our area.
This year’s theme is “Listen, Think, Respond: Engaging Students in Writing for Life.” Continuing in our tradition of creating and welcoming cross-institutional conversations about teaching writing, we welcome teachers from secondary and post-secondary classrooms. We invite you to join us on October 1 and 2 as we share ideas, meet new and old friends and colleagues, and talk about the rewards and challenges we have in common.
