Alison Hitch is a Lecturer in the Department of Writing and Rhetoric at the University of Mississippi.  She earned her Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Kentucky, her M.A. in English from Murray State University, and her B.A. in English from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Her research interests include corequisite writing instruction, composition studies, student success and retention as well as twentieth-century British literature.
